In Autumn 2024 I decided to try once again to set up an online RPG campaign.

I put together a small group of players and we quickly agree on theme (Wild West - initially fairly "mundane" with optional weird elements that might arrive later in the campaign).

I am too old for complicated rulesystems, and anyway I did not want to invest too much considering that the campaign could end abruptly for a miriad different reasons. So I tapped my previous
experiments in running rules-lite games and rolled out my own Western-flavored little system.

We have recently converted everything to the Cepheus-based
Under Western Skies - for now this page is just a placeholder in case anyone wanted to try their hand at a Western Game; if the campaign survives a few more months I might create a dedicated subsite just like I did already in the past.

Main Rules - Version 1.07

Based on

Apart from re-skin the rules for Wild West adventures my modifications are the introduction of skills, and trying to use the (player facing) rolls to also govern the actions of NPCs in combat (influenced by 13th Age).

I used this for almost one year with weekly plays. Due to my own GM's style we did not run many combats, though.

Weird Stuff - Version 1.0

Created with some help from ChatGPT.

This is the "Weird West" supplement including supernatural elements (vampires, zombies) and a rudimental magic system.

The campaign is still rooted in reality and all the ghosts encountered so far were of the Scooby Doo variety.

This supplement is therefore completely untested.
