Net
[New Weapon]
A net is a mesh of string, cord or rope.
Rules:
Make a Throwing attack to ensnare the target. Target can use Dodge (either roll or static value) as long they are aware and able to move (so an inanimate object or a stationary, unaware target has Dodge=0)

13+ | Totally ensnared: -2D to any physical action until freed. |
Breaking free:
- To break by force alone: requires one full round, counts as an action, normal nets have a Soak of 2.
- Roll brawling damage vs Soak (remember to apply -2D to this due to being ensnared). If the struggling person manages to roll at least 1 pip over the soak, they get free at the end of the round.
- Note that if the target has a cutting weapon (sword, dagger) they will use that damage (still at -2D) against the net SOAK).
Cost: If you want to track money, cost should be 25% of a Dagger
Damage: No damage per se.
