MagicSeal is a special substance that bonds to most materials, producing a bond almost as strong as a good weld. (Not surprisingly, this is marketed under the name GreyTape, even though it is a gel.)
In order to avoid accidents or cruel pranks, the gel contains special genengineered bacteria which are activated by trace compounds usually present on human skin. The bacteria start a chain reaction in the substance destroying it before it becomes hard. This way, the only risk is a sligthly bluish discoloration of the skin where the adhesive is applied, lasting a couple days. Specially formulated equivalents exist for other races (Vargr, Aslan and so on).
The bacteria die when the adhesive is fully solidified (3 to 9 rounds, depending on atmosphere type and temperature).
The stuff is sold in squeezable tubes containing enough stuff to fully cover a 40x40 cm square area. It is usually advisable to use gloves when dealing this stuff... in order to defend the glue from skin contact, instead of the other way around.
Even if GrayTape is good enough for many applications, it is not a real substitute for proper welding. Reduce Armor Value by 1 for any contraption created by GreyTape "pasting".
